Preservation Louisville Lecture Series

This promises to be a great on going lecture series for anyone who owns historic property.



Preservation Louisville announces Hands on History workshop and lecture series Learn to maintain a historic home or building - inside and out

July: "Historic Woodwork & Carpentry"

July 10th, 2010 Guest Speaker: Jim Ritchie Preservation Louisville's "Hands on History" workshop and lecture series will continue with "Historic Woodwork & Carpentry." Led by carpenter Jim Ritchie, this workshop will focus on maintaining the woodwork and carpentry of your historic home. Ritchie will discuss with participants ways to restore and renovate woodwork or carpentry in their historic home. Ritchie uses his skills in carpentry and woodworking to regularly help those in need by building houses through Habitat for Humanity.

WHEN: 2nd Saturday of the month from May-November 1pm-4pm


WHERE: The Brennan House Historic Home, 631 S. 5th Street, Louisville


ADMISSION: $25 for Preservation Louisville members $30 for non-members *Register for all 7 workshops for $175, a $210 value REGISTRATION: Advanced registration is required-as class size is limited.
